2.1 This page sets out the legal terms and conditions ("Terms") for using our website ("our site").

7.2 The names "Moonhorse" and "Moonhorse Press", the Moonhorse logo, and the titles, cover designs and text of our books are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, republish, modify or commercially exploit any content from our site without our prior written permission.

7.3 You may share links to our site and individual pages, and quote brief extracts of our content for the purpose of review or commentary, in accordance with normal copyright practice.

7.4 If you send us any communication through our site or by email (for example, a manuscript submission, a comment, or feedback), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to read, store and respond to it. We will not publish or commercially use any submission or message without your explicit prior agreement, which for unsolicited manuscripts will normally take the form of a publishing contract.

8. Our liability

8.1 Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights under Belgian and European Union law.

8.2 To the extent permitted by law, we are responsible only for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable.

8.3 We exclude liability for any business loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of opportunity, since our site is intended for personal use.

8.4 We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Belgian or EU law.

9. Events outside our control

We are not liable for any failure to comply with these Terms caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to industrial action, civil unrest, terrorist activity, war, fire, flood, storm, earthquake, epidemic, failure of telecommunications networks, or interruption of postal or transport services.

10. Other important terms

10.1 "In writing" includes email.

10.2 These Terms are between you and us. No other person has any rights to enforce them.

10.3 If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

10.4 If we delay in enforcing any of these Terms, that does not waive our right to enforce them later.

10.5 Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms and your use of our site are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute arising from your use of our site will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district where Solstice VOF has its registered office. As a consumer resident in another EU member state, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence in accordance with EU consumer protection regulations.

10.6 Online dispute resolution. If you are a consumer in the European Union and we are unable to resolve a dispute with you directly, you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
